Q&A Week 9 What is an H Bar and a Spline Joint?

#QOTW Week 9

Question: What is the difference between an H Bar and a Spline Joint?

Check Out Our Answer on Youtube!

Answer: An H Bar connects two boards by sliding the board into either side of the bar. This bar is noticeable but can be painted over to match the board (maybe with some IdeaPaint to make it dry erase?). A spline joint is when the boards slide into each other from the sides, with no visible bar attaching them. This creates the most seamless appearance possible and requires expertise.
